Physical Therapy

I completely tore my ACL in my right knee and soon I will start seeing a physical therapist 2 times a week. I am really hoping that I will gain enough strength to go back to Curves after I have these babies. I am gaining weight and I wished it would slow down!!

update

Since I've been pregnant the past 19 weeks I've gained 30 lbs......But I've got twins and I tore my ACL in my right knee and have been using crutches the past month. Hoping that the MRI reveals minimal damage and when I have the babies I can get back into some sort of exercise program.

Pregnant!

I just took 3 tests and they all came back positive. LA weightloss is freezing my account but they did say I can continue to come in for weigh-ins and blood pressure checks! The gal told me to add a dairy and 1/2 protien and she will also call the dietician to see what else I can do so I don't put on uneeded weight..Of course I will gain but there is no need to get fat!

So..I will continue to post here and you can also read what is happening on my blog...chelle-belle.com

So...I have an appontmnet next wed. and will find out the due date...or an estimate. :) I'm really excited!!!!

Week 4

Lost a couple more pounds. Down 11.8 since starting!! Woohoo!! Alan has dropped about 25 lbs too. This is a great program so far!! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask what I'm doing.

Week 3

I've lost 2.2 lbs this week :) I asked them if I could add another dairy in exchange for something else and they said if I take away 1 fruit and 1 starch so thats good with me. I am addicted to milk!!

Gotta go to work :( I'll be sure to update more soon.

I'm in the midle of messing with the layout...I know its messed up.

Week 2

I have lost 5 pounds since starting this new program 2 weeks ago! My average is 2.5 a week so far. Alan has lost 15 pounds and I am really proud of him :)

Here is the catch...I weigh myself first thing in the AM and the scale told me 187 yesterday but then 5 hours later I get weighed in at 192. UGHHH...I wished I could fax over my weight so they can record the lesser one..LOL. So anyways...guess what????!!!

I have LOST 50 pounds now. FIFTY since March of 2004. I have another 52 to go but I am halfway there :)

Week 1

Down 2 pounds in one week since starting. Yeah!!

Last night I spent 2 hours painting my room so hopefully that burned some calories :) I have to get my butt to work. I went into the store a little earlier and I can see I have a shit load of work to do tonight. Oh, I cancelled my membership at Curves today. I can't get there on a regular basis. The downfall of Curves is even though it is for women only, they do not provide an area for children for the 30 minutes during the workout. If I could have that I would be in there 4 times a week!

So far so good.

I have been following my menu plan and it is strange eating more than I normally do. I have the habit of eating once or twice a day and drinking way too much milk. I am addicted to MILK. So far, I am doing really good. I feel full after I eat and sometimes it seems like I have to eat more than I should. I am supposed to get all my proteins, starches, veggies, fruits, dairy, and fat into my day. Oh, I also have to eat 2 nutritional bars on top of all this. I can even get a whopper JR without mayo and I am still good :) The past 2 days I have been painting our bedroom and I am considering that my calorie burning workout hehe. I plan on jumping on the elliptical everyday just to be good. I seriously want to get to 190 in 2 weeks. Think I can do it? Speaking of 2 weeks, my pool should be finished and then I will be doing laps. Well, time to get going..the mad house is about to start.

Starting Over!

Ok...I started this journey 68 weeks ago. Sixty Eight!!! I am officially starting over.

I joined a program with my hubby and it's called LA Weight loss Center. He joined a week ago and he lost 5 pounds since. We go 3 times a week and get a weigh-in, blood pressure check, and a measurement done. It is a lot more motivating to me because I HAVE to go and if I fail to lose the weight I have set as a goal within a time limit they will continue to see me free of charge.

So, I got a weigh in today. I weigh 197. Last March 2004 I weighed 242. I have a goal weight of 140 and I plan on being at my goal by February of 2006. That is 57 lbs in just 29 weeks. Just think, I could have been at my goal if I could have stuck with it.

The thing about I feel good about is Alan and I are going to go through this together. You know how good that feels? To finally have the both of work on getting healthier together and hopefully teach our daughter the healthy choices of eating. All they are doing is guiding us on what and how much to eat. We actually have to buy groceries...not McDonalds and everything else out there.

I will also start tracking Alan's loss too. I won't reveal his weight because he wants it to be kept private but I am proud of what he is doing and I want to share his loss!

Tomorrow morning I have an appointment with my counselor and we will discuss what I need to do. Wish me luck!!!!!

I forgot to mention that when I was at Curves last they posted the top 20 in weightloss/ loss of inches and I came into third place! The other two women lost over 100 each within 2 years and I am at a loss of 43 in one year. Damn, I need to catch up!

Just living.

I haven't been doing anything great lately as far as working out but I am atleast maintaining. I have been super busy working & hanging out with people lately so I am not sitting on my butt at home. I went to my friends house the other night and went swimmimg. I can't wait until our pool is finished so I go swimming everyday like I have dreamed of. I am a water baby. I can swim all day long!! What's happening?

Yesterday I went to Curves and had a good workout. Is it me or does anyone else get small headaches while working out? Usually when it happens to me I slow down or get a drink of water so my heart rate can down down a little. I am afraid of stroking out or something. I had an amazing crazy story happen that you can read here...It was right after my workout.

Today I wanted to keep the momentum up as far as working out. I really want to get back into the groove, ya know...I have been struggling. I jumped on the elliptical and only survived 30 minutes. I can remember when I was doing 55 minutes. I am hoping I can get there again soon. So, I finished my 30 minutes and went to the living room and did some crunches and rolled around the floor playing with Taylor. I am making sure I have been drinking plenty of water too.

For lunch I made a kick ass salad. I threw a bag of italian lettuce mix together with tomatoes, cheddar cheeses, turkey, cucumbers, and some vidalia onion vinnegrette I bought from Sam's Club. That stuff tastes awesome!!! Alan just finished the salad off so i have to make some more now.

I need to get my work clothes on and get my butt to work. TTYL!

1st Goal Reached

I went to Curves yesterday. I haven't been there since March for a weigh-in.

In 2 months time I actually lost 2.5 lbs and over 5 inches. I was also recorded under 200 lbs on my weight records with Curves. I am 198. I have lost 43 lbs since I started so I am really excited!! The weird thing about this is the fact I have been feeling really bad. I actually believed I had gained weight and inches. Weird how the mind plays tricks.

I am really getting back into the groove now.

I feel really full..I kinda ate a lot of junk a little while ago.

I have been doing real shitty when it comes to my weightloss. I don't know where my drive went. I was feeling so damned good when I was working out all the time last year.

I need to get on it. Or Get huge again.. I am not going there..thats for sure.

News.

Guess what I did today?...well, this morning; it's 1:41 am...I worked out!! I haven't worked out for about a month and that was at Curves. I have been really struggling and honestly I feel so freaking fat and disgusting right now. I know that I am maybe warped in the head for thinking that but honestly it is really on my mind a lot how I feel on the inside and out. I am so bloated right now too from being on the...monthly cycle. I have been eating terrible foods and guess when I am eating those foods? I have been eating late at night. I get off work at 9pm and then I head out and eat out at restaurants or fast food places. I need to get back into the old habit of drinking water and if I happen to be hungry then eat fruit after 9.

A lot of stressful things are also going on in this household too. We have been struggling with the marriage and all. We bought the house and moved in 5 months ago and now we are going to go our separate ways. I know we will both be happier down the road but we have been married 8 years. I just seem to be going downwards and I need to catch myself and stay focused. Seriously, I don't want to fail. I really want to get to my goal and be a lot happier.

It is time to go to bed. I need to make sure I don't get too tired tomorrow so I can workout again. :sleep

The other night a couple girfriends and I went out to a country bar and I danced so much my thighs are killing me!!!!! We did that dance where you squat and grind; it was for a contest, and I kinda killed my thighs:sad. Hopefully the pain will go away soon.

Oh yeah

I started this journey a year ago..and I am still losing..slowly but still trying to shape up.

I am also proud to announce I am wearing a size 14 now:peace!!! I started this journey wearing a size 18/20. It has been a lot of fun wearing cute clothes for spring this year. I am not ashamed to put a pair of shrts on or wear a skirt :wink

Here are a couple items I picked up at Lane Bryant :) The skirt is cute as hell and I like the fact they are shorts :blush

Update

I have been going through a lot of emotional crap lately and the past week I have been bad at eatting during the night. I swear I am going to stop that. I know it is not good for me or my weightloss goals.

I need to get into curves and do another weigh-in. Honestly I don't think I gained though.

I also haven't updated my journal because a few weeks ago someone hacked my site and deleted my Moveable Type and I had to start out fresh. I was too lazy to fix it and haven't been home much either.
